Planning your wedding day with Red Lion is easy and stress free!
Our dedicated wedding team are friendly and knowledgeable and are just a phone call away. They will work with you every step of the way to plan your day to the last details, and will be on-hand during the big day itself to make sure everything goes to plan.
We will also handle your room decorations & linen, florist, the DJ, a photographer, bands & singers etc, and ensure everyone is in the right place at the right time. On the wedding day our team will ensure that you are being looked after from start to finish.

Whatever you’re celebrating, large or small, The Red Lion has the perfect space to host your event. Whatever your celebration from christening and baby shower to wedding anniversaries or a birthday, our beautiful and stylish function room would be ideal!
We have 2 function rooms, our small room holds up to 50 people and the large room up to 120.
We provide an excellent venue and service to make your night one to remember.
Our courteous staff can take care of all your needs including event preparation and decorations.
The Red Lion will look after all your catering needs whether they be a few trays of cold buffet, a hot buffet style dinner or a sit-down meal. Leave it up to us to take the stress off your mind. We can suggest the DJ, a band or a singer and help you see the night out in style!
Your party will be arranged and supported by our events host so you can relax and enjoy every minute of your birthday celebration!

Planning the funeral of a loved one can be difficult, particularly if their passing was sudden.
We will help you plan the event from start to finish, providing support for you and your family during this emotional time.
You can choose between our two function rooms to ensure you provide the perfect space to gather and hold a dedicated service in remembrance and celebration of loved ones.
Our small Function Room can accommodate up to 50 mourners or 32 seated (with private bar and access to outside)
The large function room has a capacity for 120 standing mourners or 65 seated (with private access to outside garden, stage with 100” projector available to display photos and flowers)
We are located only a mile from Eastbourne Crematorium, 15 mins drive from Wealden Crematorium and across the road from The Parish church of St Luke.
